THE PICTURES PHILOSOPHY
PICTURES or Tavniot in Hebrew is the philosophy that all of Judaism is a set of metaphors or "Pictures" of -- and a shadow cast by -- the Messiah Yeshua. In PICTURES and then When All The Pictures Are Restored, of which PICTURES is the first chapter, this philosophy is explained, examined in detail and used as the lens to view the entire Jewish Calendar year. Building on this foundation, the other books by Michael Washer explain many of the most common questions and replace the most common misunderstandings of the Scriptures with the truths of ancient Judaism; the original template of God.

From the Jewish Festival of First Fruits (Bikkurim) to the Jewish Festival of Pentecost (Shavuot) is seven weeks or 49 days called "filling the measure" and "counting the Omer". Scriptural prophecies state that the Messiah must come as the son of king David, from the tribe of Judah.
